This English proficiency test is unique in that it has been developed specifically for candidates in a healthcare environment. So, if you feel more comfortable because of this enhanced familiarity factor, then OET is the way to go.

But you might have to visit an OET Coaching Centre. And, if interested, it may be necessary to seek expert guidance in OET Exam Preparation. This is because the updated OET 2.0 is only a few years old. Because of this the test is neither as well-known nor as popular as IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL.

One needs to seriously consider the Occupational English Test if the person is from one of the following medical fields – Dentistry, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science. And the increasing popularity of the OET exam shows that today’s healthcare professionals are doing exactly that.
