Where did he go?
Atynder went to Canada for his higher studies. Georgian College in Barrie, to be precise. In September 2022, I had connected with my ex-student. He seemed to be enjoying himself hugely. “I’ve already learnt so much and it’s only been 3 weeks”, he had said at that time. He chose to specialize in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). And recent developments in the fields of science and technology suggest that it was a smart decision. I am sure he will go places once he secures a job post the completion of his studies.
How did he do it?
Atynder joined my Online IELTS classes which are held in the evenings on weekdays. From the very first day he was sincere, regularly attending his classes and completing the home assignments given the day before. Regular practice for 1 month was followed by performance analyses in the live classes, helped him no end. This was a point that he was at pains to emphasize. A 12-day mock test schedule allowed him to make final adjustments and get exam-ready. Further, time management became less of a problem with every passing day. Lastly, the reports and essays that he got checked made him realize exactly where he was going off-track or being irrelevant.
I am not surprised that he did so well. All students can achieve remarkable results. You all are hugely talented. The young candidates need to be gently nudged in the correct direction. Their progress is to be monitored and doubts are to be explained immediately. The writings are to be checked minutely, along with constructive suggestions. And the students are to be kept motivated at all times.
Atynder made us proud. We shall always wish him the best in his future ventures.
